JUAN PABLO GARAVAGLIA
With over 20 years of experience in the industrial technology field, JP has defined and executed business strategy, enabled sustainable growth and innovation, and led and managed diverse and high-performance teams. He has contributed to five top global industrial technology companies, delivering value and impact across several technology sectors.
Currently, serves as the CEO of Energy Patagonia, a global Decarbonization Advisory firm that assists clients in achieving their sustainability goals, providing strategic vision, operational oversight, and thought leadership, leveraging his expertise in renewable energy, clean fuels, gas processing, power generation, and energy storage among others. JP was also the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Zonda Capital, a Deep Tech VC and Corporate Partner for the Energy and Climate sectors in Latin America, investing and supporting science-based startups that will change the world. He serves as an advisor to CxOs and Boards of various startups, institutions, and corporations, sharing his insights and knowledge on innovation, technology, strategy, business, go-to-market, and capital solutions issues. He is passionate about bringing new technology for the development of our world.
JP holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, a Magister in Science in Renewable Energy from UTN and an Executive Certification in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan School. He also took several executive formation courses about Data Science, AI, Materials, Strategy, Innovation, Aerospace and others.
He is also Mentor of startups and innovators at Breakthrough Energy Fellows, START Global, 4WardClimate Accelerator and IAE Austral University NAVES program.
